Presently, I live with my two Flat-Coats (Vini and Suede). I am fortunate to also Co-own puppies with some wonderful people from across the country. My Co-owned dogs live with their loving families, thus allowing me to live with a minimal amount of dogs here in Western NY. All puppy owners are required to keep me informed about their puppies throughout their lives. I have found the majority of my Flat-Coat owners to be closely bonded, due to their love and devotion to their dogs.

TLC Retrievers had an outstanding Flat Coated Retriever foundation bitch, "Ashley" to whom I owe all my thanks for her beauty and loving ways. Ashley was the easiest dog to live with. Ashley was dripping in beauty from the time she was a puppy until the end. She produced four lovely litters from three different sires. Her first litter was born during an emotionally difficult time of my life. "Rudy" was my once-in-a-lifetime dog, born from Ashley's first litter. Unfortunately an accidental death took him from me at around 18 months old. During my sorrows many people reached out to console me, which deeply touched me. Ashley's kids are her legacy. The families that love my TLC pups became my family too! The family circle continues to broaden . . . now through her grandchildren and great grandchildren! Part of life's adventure is a discovery of God’s narrative upon my life . . . highlighted by the unconditional love of my past and present dogs. Thanks to all those that have colored my world!
